Cloud and Helpdesk Engineer

Cloud and Helpdesk Engineer

Highly curious and skilled Helpdesk IT Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Tenable Nessus, Microsoft Server, and VMware.

You will act as an assistant and help team, escalation point for IT support, manage endpoint security, and contribute to IT infrastructure improvements.
Must be self-sufficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT support, resolving complex technical issues related to endpoints, servers, and cloud services.
  • Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for endpoint security, compliance, and application deployment.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity management, conditional access, and security policies.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning using Tenable.IO, analyze findings, and assist in remediation. Coordinate Tenable and MS Defender findings.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Manage and support VMware environments, including virtual machines, ESXi hosts, and vCenter administration.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Troubleshoot network, VPN, and firewall connectivity issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.
  • Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base for end-user support.
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and technical guidance.
  • Prepare monthly reports pulling source data from Intune, Entra, Tenable.IO, etc.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • IT support, helpdesk and system administration.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for endpoint and identity management.
  • Working Knowledge of Tenable Nessus for vulnerability assessments and security compliance.
  • Microsoft Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
  • VMware (ESXi, vCenter, virtual machine management).
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills in Windows and mobile device environments.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, firewalls, DHCP, DNS).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion and empathy to serve customers, to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
